WordPecker

Terms of Service

Updated September 5, 2026•Version 2026-09-05.1

These terms describe use of WordPecker's language-learning service, accounts, subscriptions, and ad rewards. The Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled. Contact info@wordpeckerapp.com with service or billing questions.

The learning service

WordPecker provides personalized contexts, vocabulary, exercises, progress tracking, and AI tutor conversations. Features depend on your plan, supported platform, and the features offered in the app. Learning levels and scores are estimates for practice, not accredited qualifications or a promise of a particular result.

Your account

Provide accurate account information and keep your sign-in details secure. Do not impersonate another person, access another learner's account, or share or transfer access to bypass plan limits. Contact support if you suspect someone else has accessed your account.

You are responsible for the information you submit. Do not include another person's private information unless you are entitled to do so. The public account-deletion page is available to help you manage access.

Subscriptions, prices, and renewal

Android subscriptions are purchased through Google Play. Checkout identifies the product, price and currency, billing period, applicable taxes, and any introductory offer before you confirm payment. Your store account is charged according to those displayed terms. Do not complete a purchase if you do not agree with the checkout details.

An automatically renewing subscription continues until you cancel renewal through Google Play. An annual subscription may provide an allowance that refills monthly: the payment period and allowance-reset period are different. The app shows your current allowance and reset time.

Changes to subscription prices or renewal terms follow the store's applicable notification and consent requirements. A general update to these terms is not permission for an undisclosed charge.

Cancellation, refunds, and missing purchases

Manage or cancel your subscription in Google Play using the Google account that made the purchase. Cancellation normally stops a future renewal. Paid access continues until the verified expiry unless a refund, revocation, or another applicable store action ends it earlier. The store shows the effect and effective date of cancellation.

Uninstalling WordPecker or deleting your WordPecker account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it separately before deleting your account if you want billing to stop.

Refund eligibility depends on the purchase, location, applicable law, and Google Play's policy. Use the refund link below or contact info@wordpeckerapp.com for help with an incorrect charge, missing benefit, or service problem. These terms do not exclude refunds or other remedies required by consumer law. Do not send payment-card details or passwords to support.

If a paid plan is missing, use Restore purchases while signed in to the WordPecker account associated with the purchase. Access is granted after purchase verification. A pending payment, store outage, or delayed notification can delay verification. Repeating a purchase is not a substitute for restoring it.

Allowances and limits

AI generation uses the allowance associated with your account and plan. The app shows usage as a percentage and provides reset information. Usage alerts are reminders; you can also check your allowance directly.

An exhausted allowance can prevent new AI generation until the allowance resets or verified additional allowance becomes available. Saved learning remains available subject to normal service availability. Allowances and ad rewards are service entitlements, not money, transferable assets, or a promise of a fixed number of exercises or replies.

Optional reward ads

When offered, you can choose a reward ad for additional allowance. The app shows the reward and applicable limits. Credit follows verification by the ad provider, which may take time. Starting, closing, or interrupting an ad does not by itself establish that a reward is due.

Ads and rewards depend on provider availability, privacy choices, eligibility, and displayed limits. Do not manipulate callbacks, identifiers, or devices to obtain unearned rewards. Contact support if a completed ad was not credited. An ad error does not authorize another charge to your payment method.

Your content and AI output

You retain any rights you have in the content you submit. You permit WordPecker and the providers used to deliver the feature to process, store, and display that content as needed to provide the service, apply your settings, and handle your requests. This does not transfer ownership of your content to WordPecker. Personal information is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

AI questions, explanations, translations, and replies can contain mistakes or ambiguity. Outputs may be similar to outputs supplied to other users. Check information before relying on it for an important decision. WordPecker does not provide professional advice or guarantee fluency, accuracy, or a particular learning outcome.

Acceptable use and service materials

Use WordPecker lawfully. Do not submit unlawful content, infringe another person's rights, harass people, distribute malicious software, probe accounts you do not own, disrupt the service, or bypass authentication, usage limits, or store verification. Do not automate requests to evade your plan's limits.

WordPecker's branding, interface, and original materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property rights. You may use them through the service for their intended purpose. These terms do not restrict rights under an open-source licence or mandatory law.

Service interruptions and account closure

Maintenance, network failures, and outages at AI, payment, or advertising providers can interrupt a feature. Report persistent problems to support. Your rights concerning a paid service that is not supplied correctly remain available.

We may restrict access where needed to address unlawful use, a security threat, or a material breach of these terms. Where appropriate and lawful, we will explain the reason and allow you to contact support. A restriction does not remove mandatory consumer rights or automatically cancel a store subscription.

You can stop using WordPecker and delete your account through Settings or the public Delete account page. Deletion permanently removes the active account data described in the Privacy Policy. Request a copy of information you need before deletion.

Your legal rights and resolving a problem

Nothing in these terms excludes a right, warranty, remedy, or liability that applicable law does not allow to be excluded. Contact info@wordpeckerapp.com with a description and the account email involved if the service or a purchase has a problem.

These terms do not impose mandatory arbitration, waive a right to complain to a regulator, or require you to give up applicable consumer protections.

Changes to these terms

The date and version above identify these terms. Material changes require notice appropriate to the change and applicable law. Store purchase conditions and any required consent to new charges continue to apply. A revised document does not remove rights relating to an earlier purchase or replace consent where consent is required.
